The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in influence within the city.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of characters who will split off from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the developments of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the team knows exactly where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as important members in House Halovar could help the team reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This means them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Seekers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can anticipate discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on October 24.
