I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
